A Blend of 2 great African Coffees, Ethiopian Harrar Durato Bombe Light Roast and Uganda Bugisu Dark Roast. Together they make a super delicious combination that appeals to dark, medium and lighter roast fans…. It is currently my FAVORITE coffee!!
Ethiopian Harrar Durato Bombe comes from the village of Durato Bombe, near the border of the Sidam region. It has that traditional blueberry taste, mulling spices, and a tart juiciness. It’s a little more pricey because these beans are a small batch natural processed coffee. The cherry fruit is allowed to dry on the beans which imparts the fruity blueberry aroma. It is also Grade 1, which is the highest possible grade of bean.
Uganda Bugisu our most popular Dark Roast coffee with hints of raisin cookie, figs, brown sugar, and baker’s cocoa, it is low acid and bold tasting. This Bugisu co-op is an organic certified coffee grower in Uganda and is also Rain Forest Alliance Certified! These beans are grown near a town called Sipi Falls, which is near Victoria Falls and several other waterfalls — one of the most beautiful places in the world.
A cup of Blueberry Breakfast Blend is great way to start your morning and I love it as Iced Coffee in the afternoon.
